Fox News Poll: Clinton Ahead of Trump After Debate, Fear Motivating Both Sides…..SEE VIDEO

Hillary Clinton has gained ground on Donald Trump, who has slipped in key measures of the presidential race after the first debate.

First, the horserace. Clinton is ahead of Trump by three percentage points: 43-40 percent in the four-way matchup, according to a new Fox News Poll of likely voters. Her advantage is within the poll’s margin of sampling error. Two weeks ago, Clinton was up by one (41-40 percent).
Third-party candidates Gary Johnson (8 percent) and Jill Stein (4 percent) remain in single digits.

In the two-candidate head-to-head, Clinton tops Trump by five: 49-44 percent. Two weeks ago, Trump was up by one (46-45 percent).

The consequences of the debate, which voters score as a win for Clinton by nearly three-to-one, are even clearer on other measures. Trump’s honesty rating is down, most still say he doesn’t have the right temperament, and over half wouldn’t be comfortable with him as president.
Meanwhile, more voters now see Clinton as honest than Trump, the number who say she has the right temperament is up, and over half think her long tenure in government is a positive. Plus, her support increased among women, non-whites, and younger voters.

The poll was conducted Tuesday through Thursday, so all interviews were done after Monday night’s debate.

The Fox News Poll is based on landline and cellphone interviews with 1,009 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from September 27-29, 2016. The survey includes results among 911 likely voters. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus three percentage points for results among both registered and likely voters.

Suspect In Texas Killings Was Deported Not Once, Not Twice, But Three Times

Via Daily Caller:

A murder suspect who was arrested in Austin, Texas, Tuesday is a Mexican man who has been deported three times from the U.S.

Authorities deported Juan Navarro Rios in 1996, 2009, and 2014. Reasons for Rios’ deportations include an unspecified felony conviction, claiming to be a U.S. citizen, and for coming back to the U.S. after being previously deported.

“This is an example of the worst of the worst that we go after on a daily basis,” said Hector Gomez, supervisory deputy marshal of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Rios, 40, is wanted for having allegedly shot and killed two people driving down the road and then kidnapping a landscaper.

Video: 6-Point Buck Attacking Driver Captured by Police Dashcam

BY: OutdoorHub Reporters / POSTED: 9/29/16

Police officers in Howell, New Jersey, captured the moment a 6-point buck attempted to get revenge after it was hit by an SUV.

FOX 10 Phoenix reported that officer Austin spotted a deer running across the road and hurl itself at the open door of the SUV, striking the woman inside.

This buck took it upon himself to let 43-year-old Ellen Sager know that she needed to slow down. Sager later told the officer that she had just hit the deer before it came back to give her a piece of his mind.

10 Things Trump Could (but probably won’t) Change At Next Debate

Why is this man always “scowling” and “angry”😡

By Michael D’Antonio

Like a football team that must shake off defeat in order to prepare for the next game, Donald Trump has a short time to get over his drubbing in the first presidential debate and get ready for the next. He has, instead, been whining like a kitchen blender about the moderator, the microphone and his opponent while continuing to draw attention to the worst….

Advisors who want Trump to win the next debate, on October 9, must get him to change. But to do this, they must overcome the candidate’s 40-plus years of doing things his way. To appreciate the daunting nature of this task, consider just 10 things Trump could do to prepare for the next debate, and why it’s likely he won’t be able to do any of them…

1) Accept your defeat in the first debate
Trump likes to say “I’m a winner” and is not accustomed to losing, which may explain the poor sportsmanship he has shown since Hillary Clinton defeated him. Ignoring real poll results that show he was swamped, Trump has ordered aides to stop saying he lost. Of course, this kind of denial means that no one can ask the emperor to put on some clothes. He won’t look down to see his own nakedness.

2) Learn to apologize
When he was asked in the first debate what he would say to African-Americans about his scandalous role in the “birther” controversy that questioned President Obama’s citizenship, Trump replied, “I say nothing.” You will search in vain for an example of Trump ever taking responsibility for the damage he has done to any individual, community or nation, though examples abound. He is not going to learn how to do it now.

3) Play by the rules
Manners may not count when you fire people on reality TV, but they matter in a two-way presidential debate. Trump looked like a 6-year-old as he interrupted with witticisms such as “Wrong!” as Clinton spoke during the first debate. But as Trump has said, he believes he is the same person he was in first grade. His advisers are not going to get him to mature into an adult now.

4) Act like you want the job
One of the oddest moments in the first debate saw Trump say that if he loses the election he’ll still get to Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington because he has a new hotel there. Someone who wants to occupy the White House shouldn’t suggest he’d be satisfied with a hotel down the street. But Trump is first and always a salesman — not a statesman — and he will never pass up an opportunity to get free advertising for his business.

5) Stop bragging
During the first debate Trump’s cringe-worthy moments included bragging about not paying any federal taxes and about betting on a housing crisis. As he crowed about his wealth, he added that he was speaking “not in a braggadocious way.” But of course he was bragging. Boasting and bragging are off-putting to debate watchers but they are essential elements of Trump’s personality and he will not stop.

6) Don’t make so many faces
On the day after the first debate, body language experts noted Trump’s negative body language and timid facial expression. (These signals were enough for one reporter to call Trump the loser after viewing the contest with the sound turned off.) Advisers may want Trump to control his exaggerated nonverbals, but this is not something this rubber-faced man can do.

7) Prepare and practice
Always ready to use a little gamesmanship, Trump allowed his campaign staff to broadcast the fact that he was taking a confidently casual approach to the first debate. He said himself, “I believe you can prep too much for these things.” The result was obvious, as Trump seemed ill-equipped with either arguments or rhetorical parries to use against his opponent. Could he do differently? Trump said he doesn’t like to read and prefers to depend on instinct, which makes it’s hard to imagine he will suddenly become open to training. Another person might turn a debate defeat as a moment to learn. This is not Trump’s way.

8) Update your references
In the first debate Trump referenced Gen. Douglas MacArthur, who died in 1964, to make a point about America’s pursuit of the ISIS terror organization. Those who got A’s in history, know of MacArthur, but the reference surely bypassed millions who watched the debate. Trump must have heard a lot about the general when he attended a military school in the 1960s, but he needs to update himself. Given the evidence that he doesn’t understand the workings of our most vital technology, the internet, modernizing his knowledge base would be a big challenge.

9) Abandon the Russians
Despite the evidence showing that recent cyberattacks against the Democratic National Committee and others emanated from Russia, Trump told the first debate audience, “She’s [Clinton] saying ‘Russia, Russia, Russia,’ but I don’t.” This stand is consistent with Trump’s earlier sloughing off of Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine and his expressed admiration for Vladimir Putin. Because everything is personal for him, Trump likes Putin in part because Putin has said he likes him. Don’t expect him to change his mind about the Russians on the basis of geopolitics. They are going to have to insult him personally before he does that.

10) Be nicer
In the first debate, Clinton pointed out his penchant for insulting people and Trump talked about “somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds.” After the debate, Trump decided to make veiled threats about using President Bill Clinton’s sex scandal against her. Nastiness doesn’t play well in a general election when a candidate must appeal to those beyond his or her base. However being nasty has always been a key element of Trump’s repertoire, as shown by his feuds with Cher, Bette Midler, Rosie O’Donnell and others. Trump once said that he doesn’t respect most people because they don’t deserve it. He is not likely to become respectful overnight.

It’s A Big Club And We Ain’t In It

If you had a hunch the news system was somewhat rigged and you couldn’t put your finger on it, this might help you solve the puzzle.

• ABC News executive producer Ian Cameron is married to Susan Rice, National Security Adviser.

• CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.

• ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney.

• ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama’s Deputy Press Secretary.

• ABC President Ben Sherwood is the brother of Obama’s Special Adviser Elizabeth Sherwood.

• CNN President Virginia Moseley is married to former Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Secretary Tom Nides.

Ya think there might be a little bias in the news?

Barack Obama paid 400 million dollars to his buddies in Iran so they would release Americans they were holding. The longstanding policy of not negotiating with terrorists and not paying ransom was ignored by Obama as he sent a plane load of money to Iran.

He ( Obama ) claims it was a coincidence but the Iranians said it was paid to release the hostages and the hostages said the plane they were on was not allowed to leave until the plane with the money arrived.

The State Department put out a warning to Americans yesterday (22 August 2016) telling them to avoid travel to Iran because Americans are being targeted for capture there.
That was pretty easy to see coming. You get more of what you pay for. Give in to demand for ransom and there will be more incidents of abductions leading to requests for more ransom money.
If you paid it once there is no reason for the bad guys to think you won’t pay it again.

Why Americans would even go to Iran escapes me. If you go there and get captured then you are on your own if the only way to get you back is to pay a ransom. We will keep negotiating for your release but we are not going to pay because it will encourage the abductions of others.
At least that is how it was until
Obama gave in and provided a state sponsor of terror with 400 million dollars.

Just think what that kind of money would have done for the folks in Louisiana…

Never surrender, never submit.

Fox News Memo To Staff: Stop promoting Unscientific Garbage online polls about who won the debate

I wonder if they have any particular staff in mind. Could it be the unpaid volunteer for the Trump campaign who occupies their 10 p.m. hour?

Hannity’s guilty here, but as it turns out, he’s not the only one. Evidently Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade from “Trump & Friends” and Martha MacCallum were also talking up Drudge-style online polls yesterday as evidence that the country thought Trump won the debate. In reality, not a single scientific poll — including Breitbart’s — showed Trump ahead. The most overtly pro-Trump website on the Internet had more integrity than Fox News did in describing public reaction. And the shame of it is, Fox News’s own polling department is well respected. Imagine being an FNC public-opinion researcher, having worked hard for years to convince professionals in your field that they can trust your numbers even if they don’t trust Fox writ large, only to turn on “Hannity” last night and hear him say, “I have it in front of me. Time magazine, Drudge Report, CNBC, The Hill, CBS — the only one that has Hillary winning is CNN, and they are the ‘Clinton News Network.’” The “Clinton News Network” poll, as it happened, was the only one of those polls that was conducted scientifically.

Dana Blanton, Fox’s polling guru, could take no more:

Dana Blanton, the vice president of public-opinion research at Fox News, explained in the memo obtained by Business Insider that “online ‘polls’ like the one on Drudge, Time, etc. where people can opt-in or self-select … are really just for fun.”

“As most of the publications themselves clearly state, the sample obviously can’t be representative of the electorate because they only reflect the views of those Internet users who have chosen to participate,” Blanton wrote.

As the Fox News executive pointed out, users who participate in such polls must have internet access, be online at the time of the poll, be fans of the website in question, and self-select to participate.

“Another problem — we know some campaigns/groups of supporters encourage people to vote in online polls and flood the results,” she wrote. “These quickie click items do not meet our editorial standards.”

Top 10 Abortion Questions Hillary Clinton Wasn’t Asked at the Debate

During the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, debate moderator Lester Holt did not bring up the issue of abortion. Although the issue sparks a huge divide between the two candidates neither of them fielded any questions on the most important topics on the minds of the majority of American voters who are pro-life.

Specifically, Hillary Clinton was not asked about her extreme proportion view that has her supporting abortion up to birth and paid for by taxpayer dollars.

Here’s a list of 10 questions Holt could have asked the Democratic nominee about her radical pro-abortion positions

1) Why do you think an unborn child has no constitutional rights?
2) Should an unborn child have any legal rights before he’s born?
3) Why do you think Christians should be forced to change their views on abortion?
4) Why do you think it’s okay to abort babies just because they ave Down Syndrome?
5) Why did you pick a running mate who claims he is a Catholic in good standing while contradicting the pro-life views of the Catholic Church?

6) Why do you “admire” population control activist Margaret Sanger?
7) Why did you defend Planned Parenthood when it was caught selling aborted baby parts?
8) Why did you laugh when someone removed “under God” from the pledge of allegiance?
9) Why do you support late-term abortions on babies after 20 weeks?
10) Why did you compare the majority of Americans who are pro-life to terrorists?

SIGN THE PLEDGE! We Oppose Hillary Clinton!

Pro-life voters are not the only ones who are upset by the lack of substance of questions for Hillary Clinton from Holt. As Newsbusters reports:

Media Research Center president Brent Bozell joined the Fox Business Network’s late-night coverage and urged Donald Trump to “raise hell” over Holt “pitch[ing] softballs to Hillary Clinton all night long.”

Host Neil Cavuto turned to Bozell around the 12:48 a.m. Eastern mark for his thoughts on Holt and Bozell promptly went to his “scorecard” on Holt’s relentless hardballs and follow-ups to Trump versus those to Clinton.

8 NYC Council Members Refuse To Stand For Pledge Of Allegiance

Jumaane Williams

Eight City Council members refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance Wednesday, joining a protest started by City Councilman Jumaane Williams earlier this month.

Williams has received racist hate mail calling him a “f—– plantation monkey” and telling him to “drop dead” since saying he would not recite the pledge in protest of injustices including killings by police and gun violence.

Seven other pols remained seated as the rest of the body pledged to the flag at Wednesday’s Council meeting.

FDA Approves First Automated Insulin System For Type 1 Diabetes

For diabetes patients, managing blood sugar levels through insulin pens, needles or pumps is a necessary hassle — but it might be far easier to handle going forward. The US Food and Drug Administration has approved the first automated insulated delivery device for type 1 diabetes, Medtronic’s MiniMed 670G. The gadget uses a sensor to detect glucose levels under your skin every 5 minutes, and supplies just enough insulin to keep your blood sugar stable. While you do have to trigger a manual insulin dose after meals, you generally won’t have to be as involved in the process as before.

The technology isn’t flawless. A trial only showed that the 670G works for 14-year-olds and older, so you’ll have to wait for subsequent tests to see if it’s safe for children aged 7 and up. It’s demonstrably more effective at maintaining safe blood sugar levels, but it’s not so effective that you’ll always be in your target range. And of course, this doesn’t help with type 2 diabetes, which is far more common — you’re stuck with conventional solutions in that case. Nonetheless, this is a big step toward a day when diabetes is more of a minor nuisance in daily life than a constant presence.

Charlotte Rioters Don’t Care If Shooting Was Justified

Via NY Post:

The Charlotte rioters didn’t know whether the controversial police shooting of Keith Scott was justified, and didn’t care.

They worked their mayhem — trashing businesses and injuring cops, with one protester killed in the disorder — before anything meaningful could be ascertained about the case except that the cops said Scott had a gun and his family said he didn’t.

Charlotte is the latest episode in the evidence-free Black Lives Matter movement that periodically erupts in violence after officer-involved shootings. The movement is beholden to a narrative of systematic police racism to which every case is made to conform, regardless of the facts or logic.

It doesn’t matter if the police officer is an African-American with an unblemished record and numerous character witnesses. This describes Brentley Vinson, the officer who fatally shot Keith Scott.

It doesn’t matter if the victim disobeys the police in a tense situation and acts in a potentially threatening manner. Despite cops with guns drawn yelling orders at him (and his wife shouting, “Don’t you do it”), Scott exited his vehicle and approached officers without raising his hands.
