Jim I believe it’s time to lawyer up! Text me I believe I know a few!……..Papa Mike

St. Louis area substitute teacher Jim Furkin was fired in October after he thanked the children for standing for the Pledge of Allegiance.

This offended one student so Jim lost his teaching gig.

KMOV reported:

A Missouri substitute teacher is seeking answers after claiming he was banned because he thanked students for saying the Pledge of Allegiance.

Jim Furkin worked as a sub for 10 years in St. Louis County’s Parkway School District and worked for 5 years as a sub at Parkway South High School.

Furkin told the school board Thursday that he was subbing in a freshman English class at South High in October. During the pledge, most, but not all, students stood.

Furkin says he thanked those who stood, and then afterwards ane student went to a counselor. An administrator told Furkin the student complained he had been “hurt” by Furkin’s comment.

Furkin told News 4 he did not understand why his comments cost him his substitute teaching position at South High.

“I’m thanking the kids who participates in it,” said Furkin, “But obviously in every single classroom you’re going to have a few that sit and that’s their right, I respect that.”

Broward County Hand Recount Wraps Up More Quickly Than Expected, And It’s ‘Bad News’ For Dimocrats

Via Daily Wire:

According to reports from Broward County, after election officials failed to submit the results of the machine recount in time — which showed Republicans’ vote margins increasing — thus nullifying them, they managed to get through the hand recount much more quickly than Democrats hoped they would.

Mother Jones’ Pema Levy, who has been tracking the developments in Broward and Palm Beach, reported Friday that the hand recount had already wrapped up, and incumbent Democrat Sen. Bill Nelson “didn’t come close” to making up the votes he needed to try to catch up with Republican Rick Scott.

“The hand recount in Broward is over for the Senate race,” Levy tweeted. “It was a blur it went so fast. Looks like Nelson didn’t come close to making up the ground he needs.”

GOP Will Audit Elections Office In Arizona County That Swung Elections To Democrats

They improperly allowed early voting for some people after the time stated.

Via Daily Caller:

The Arizona Republican Party will conduct an independent audit of the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office after three statewide Republican candidates who initially led on election night saw their races swing the other way as outstanding ballots were counted.

Despite leading on election night and for some time afterward, GOP Rep. Martha McSally ultimately lost her Senate campaign to Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema. The neck-and-neck race took almost a week to call. The former Air Force pilot initially led her Democratic challenger by about 16,000 votes the day after Election Day. However, the slow count of mail-in ballots pushed Sinema into the lead and eventually handed her victory.

McSally wasn’t the only Arizona Republican who saw her lead vanish as outstanding ballots trickled in.

Republican Frank Riggs initially led Democrat Kathy Hoffman in the race for Arizona superintendent of public instruction. He went on to lose about a week later. Katie Hobbs, the Democratic candidate for Arizona Secretary of State, had been trailing Republican Steve Gaynor on Election Day, and The Associated Press went so far as to project Gaynor the winner that night. However, after several days of ballot counting, the Democratic candidate is expected to win that race.

Jerry Brown Receiving Some Blame For California Fires For Vetoing 2016 Wildfire Mitigation Bill

No Jerry it’s not climate change.

Via Daily Caller:

California Gov. Jerry Brown’s decision to veto a 2016 bipartisan bill aimed at mitigating wildfire risks from power lines and utility equipment has become the focus of critics as fires rage across the state.

Wildfires have scorched more than 221,000 acres across California since Thursday, and Brown’s critics are pointing to the two-year-old veto as news reports suggest power lines may have sparked the deadliest wildfire in California’s history.

“He has done nothing to harden those assets,” state Sen. John Moorlach, a Republican, told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Moorlach sponsored the 2016 bill, called SB 1463, which would have given local governments a bigger role in putting together fire risk maps with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and Cal Fire, the state’s firefighting agency.

Abrams Pondering Lawsuit Asking For ‘Do-Over’ Of Election In Georgia

THIS IS TOTAL “BULL-CRAP”…I’M SURE OPRAH IS STILL CALLING ALL THE SHOTS, ALONG WITH THE NAACP AND EVERY OTHER “BLACK” DIMOCRAT AND ORGANIZATION IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!……..Papa Mike

And Gillum is still refusing to concede in Florida, despite the fact that it’s over there in his race, there are no more recounts. Florida and Georgia need to certify the races and have done with this nonsense.

Via Daily Wire:

Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and her campaign, claiming that her loss to GOP gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp was caused by voting irregularities, are preparing to take a drastic step in order to derail Kemp taking office if state officials declare Kemp the winner: a legal challenge that would call for an entirely new election.

As the Associated Press (AP) reports, Adams and her team may rely on a state statute that has never been used for a race as important as a governor’s race in Georgia. Even before the election, Abrams ripped Kemp, saying on MSNBC, “Brian Kemp has been an exquisite architect of voter suppression for the last decade, and the outside agitators he so blithely dismisses include Asian American groups based in the state of Georgia, Latino groups based in the state of Georgia, African American community organizations based in the state of Georgia who have been doing this work for decades.”

Rubio: No Evidence Of Election Fraud? Look What We Just Learned Democrats Did In Florida

This is now under investigation by federal prosecutors. They shouldn’t be counting fraudulent ballots.

Via Daily News:

With the machine recounts finished — reportedly resulting in a net gain for Republican Rick Scott of 41 votes, putting him ahead of Bill Nelson by 12,603 votes, and a one-vote gain for Democrat Andrew Gillum, which leaves him still trailing Ron DeSantis by 33,683 votes — and the hand recounts underway, Republican Sen. Marco Rubio sounded the alarm over potential voter fraud by Democrat officials.

“No evidence of fraud in #FloridaElection?” wrote Rubio in a post Thursday. “Dems got voters to use altered forms to fix & submit as many mail ballots as possible after FL deadline in hopes that a judge would later order state to count them. Today that’s exactly what a federal judge did.”

Rubio linked to a story by the Naples Daily News, which detailed an effort by Democrats to swing the election outcome by giving Democrat voters altered absentee ballots with the hopes of getting a judge to admit them. “A day after Florida’s election left top state races too close to call, a Democratic party leader directed staffers and volunteers to share altered election forms with voters to fix signature problems on absentee ballots after the state’s deadline,” the outlet reports.
