The Media Sides With North Korea Over The United States At The Olympics

Unreal. CNN, Washington Post, NY Times, ABC, NBC all just lapping it up and pushing propaganda.

Via Daily Caller:

The mainstream media’s glorification of totalitarian hellholes won’t strike anyone familiar with 20th century history as new, but this weekend’s coverage of North Korea’s regime at the Olympics would make even former New York Times journalist Walter Duranty blush.

As the 2018 Olympics Winter Games began in South Korea, reporters from various networks clapped like seals at North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un’s pathetic attempt at charming journalists into accepting his regime as legitimate, choosing to woo them over with synchronized cheer squads and having his sister Kim Yo Jong leer at Vice President Mike Pence.

Nephew Of Florida Cop Killed In Line Of Duty Sworn In As ‘Special Policeman’

Via Fox News:

Enzo Russell spent his sixth birthday with a handful of new friends — police officers from Kissimmee Police Department in Florida.

The officers gave the 6-year-old boy, the nephew of fallen Kissimmee Police Sgt. Richard “Sam” Howard, a gift he’ll never forget. He was sworn in as a police officer on Wednesday, ready to continue the legacy his 10-year veteran uncle left behind.

“I Enzo, being a special policeman, promise that I’ll be a good boy, that I will always love my parents,” Russell repeated after Kissimmee Police Chief Jeff O’Dell during an informal swearing-in ceremony. “I will always love other policeman. I will always do my best. I will always have my badge with me.”

The police department posted a minute-long video of the ceremony on Facebook and congratulated Russell on joining the force.

“Officer Enzo’s swearing in with Uncle Sam’s photo behind him. #KeepingTheMomentum,” the department posted on Wednesday.

The post was viewed nearly 4,000 times and received several comments.

“Welcome to the brotherhood, Enz,” one Facebook user commented.

“I love the ‘promises’ you gave Officer Enzo to uphold, Chief O’Dell,” another wrote. “Truly good of all of us to do our best to keep!”

Howard, 36, was killed in the line of duty in August 2017.

He was responding to a call about three suspicious persons, alongside fellow officer Matthew Baxter. The police officers were shot shortly after their arrival.

Israel Launches ‘Large Scale Attack’ In Syria After Iranian Drone Infiltrates Jewish State

Bad move by Iran, U.S. troops are in Israel training with the IDF.

Via Breitbart:

The Israeli military shot down an Iranian drone that infiltrated the country early Saturday before launching a “large-scale attack” on at least a dozen Iranian and Syrian targets in Syria. Israel called it a “severe and irregular violation of Israeli sovereignty” and warned of further action against the unprecedented Iranian aggression.

The military said its planes faced massive anti-aircraft fire from Syria that forced two pilots to abandon an F-16 jet that crashed in northern Israel. One pilot was seriously wounded and the other lightly. Syrian officials reported large explosions in the center of the country and the Syrian counter fire set off warning sirens throughout northern Israel.

The Israeli strikes marked its most significant engagement since the fighting in neighboring Syria began in 2011 and said Iran would be held responsible for its outcome.

“This is a serious Iranian attack on Israeli territory. Iran is dragging the region into an adventure in which it doesn’t know how it will end,” Israel’s chief military spokesman, Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis, said in a special statement. “Whoever is responsible for this incident is the one who will pay the price.”

Gen. Hossein Salami, acting commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, did not acknowledge Israel’s claim it shot down the drone. “We do not confirm any such news from Israel,” he said. But the joint operations room for the Syrian military and its allies denied the drone violated Israeli airspace, saying it was on a regular mission gathering intelligence on Islamic State militants.

Syria’s Defense Ministry said in statements on its website that its air defenses responded successfully to the Israeli operation and hit more than one plane. “The Israeli enemy has once again attacked some of our military bases in the southern area and our air defenses responded and foiled the aggression,” it said.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman were convening the top brass at military headquarters in Tel Aviv to discuss further response.
