LOCK THEM UP Disney World and Legoland Employees Busted in Child Porn Sting

In Polk County, Florida 11 men were arrested in connection with an undercover child pornography operation that included employees of Disney World and Legoland.

Last month detectives designed “Operation Guardians of Innocence II” to smoke out and arrest people involved with the possession, promotion, and distribution of child pornography.

The 11 suspects racked up 660 felony charges with more charges pending including possession of child pornography that included photos and videos of victims as young as three years old.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd stated “As you know, this is just the beginning – once we serve search warrants and seize the devices that these suspects are using to download and distribute pornography, we will do a complete forensic analysis, and in all likelihood we will be adding on more charges related to the felony possession and distribution of images and videos of children being sexually battered. Most of the images we saw during this investigation depicted children being sexually battered, that we have seen before – which means we haven’t yet identified any local child victims, but as always, that is also a part of our investigation.”

ABC Action News released a list of the suspects arrested in connection with the sting.

30-year-old Rickie Vargas-Garcia of Davenport works as a builder at Legoland and was charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography. Officials accused Vargas-Carcia of trading child pornography and soliciting “female juveniles online to send him nude photos and videos of themselves.” He told investigators that the “youngest female he communicated and shared nude photos with was 11 years old.” Officials said they found files featuring “victims as young as three to five years old.”

53-year-old Roger Catey, of Davenport, a Walt Disney World project manager working in the costumes department, has been charged with 24 counts possession of child pornography and two counts promotion of sexual performance by a child.

A retired school teacher and annual Disney World pass holder Donald Marich, 69, received 16 counts of possession of child pornography and three counts promotion of child pornography.

Edward Zaborowski III, 48, of Davenport, Fla., a bartender in Orlando who helps with his son’s Boy Scout Troop was charged with 64 counts of possession.

Also arrested and charged with 143 counts of possession of child pornography was registered sex offender Richard Cousins, 64, also of Davenport, who was arrested in Maine for sexual assault on two preteen males in 1992.

84-year-old Don Carrier of Davenport was charged with 200 counts possession of child pornography.

35-year-old Mathew Sentz of Lakeland, another registered sex offender, received 100 counts possession of child pornography.

20-year-old Alejandro Baltazar II from Mulberry, a student at Hillsborough Community College, was charged with 55 counts of possession of child pornography.

An unidentified 16-year-old Kissimmee boy also was charged with 12 counts of possession.

Disney and Legoland did not respond to DANGEROUS for a request for comment on the employees connected with the bust.
